Not afraid of a project? Good...because this one has potential written all over it. Located in a desirable West Asheville neighborhood, this tiny bungalow is decidedly NOT move-in ready, but it may be exactly the kind of opportunity investors and ambitious renovators are looking for. Sitting on a 0.18-acre lot, the less-than-1,000-square-foot home retains hints of its original charm with hardwood floors, vintage trim and a classic covered front porch but it needs a serious renovation and is being sold as-is. Renovate, reimagine or explore the possibilities of starting fresh; either way, the real story here is the combination of location, entry price and upside. With surrounding homes commanding substantially higher prices, there’s room here for someone with vision to turn a very rough diamond into something pretty special. Bring your contractor, your imagination…and maybe some work gloves!
